Update on my fiberglass sub box!!!
ALL the hard stuff is done now. Just gotta slap on 4-5 layers of fiberglass over the fleece, trim away the cloth/fiberglass thats in the hole for the sub, measure the internal volume and correct for it, and ensure that it is air tight inside. I am NEVER doing this thing again, lol

Hehe, yeah you did warn me
I'm not officially done though, since I still have to do my dash work. That wont be as time consuming as this has been though. You like how it has turned out so far though?

Hehehe, I will be building up an engine in the near future. Since the SC is my DD, I'm getting another GE motor to build up, install the turbo on, and then drop in.

Just did a test fit into the trunk to make sure the bow will still go in now that it has its final shape. MAN is it close. Once this thing goes in, it is NEVER coming back out, lol.

dont forget to run your speaker wires =)
drilling a hole in the side or back and filling with silicon usually works for me unless you want to be able to pull it out really easily. If thats the case, you can silicon/glass in a terminal cup

Yeah, I'm just gonna drill a hole for the wire. It works the best since terminals tend to be a pain in the ***, and I dont plan on pulling it out very oftern at all.
And I have my Monster Cable subwoofer wire sitting right here

Just another little update:
I'm done with all the layers of fiberglass, for the most part. I think I may want to go back and strengthen up a few of the joints where the 2nd half meets the first half that I did.
I did a leak down test tonight with water and had leaks all over the place, so I'm going to try and get all those resolved tonight with the truck bed lining PerryinLA used on his box. That will hopefully take care of that issue.
Then I'll just have to go through and smotth it out with bondo, and paint it. I wanted to get this all done this weekend but was unable to due to homecoming. AND since I have exams tomorrow and Tueday, the box wont be completed till Wed.
