Default Excessive Wind noise?

I searched. Anyway I noticed today that when I was racing a Audi A8 That I got a A**load of Wind noise coming into my Cabin at About 120mph to 140 mph, What gives> IS it the sunroof seals? It sound likes it coming from the passenger side, But it might be the sunroof, I dont know exactly what to look for? I did notice a leak a small one from the sunroof ( a couple of drips) last month. So I dont know. How much are the sunroof seal and new door seal if anyone has every changed them? Later

yeah there were a bunch of posts about this a while ago....i think the rubber around it costs 900.00..or they wont sell it apart from the whole window...its not cheap i was also read that buy putting on a solution of something it will soften the rubber and make it expand....ill do a search and see what i can find...

On a somewhat similar topic, what about the weather stripping between the door and window glass. The part at bottom of glass, where you might rest your arm. How much is that new, or can it be reconditioned?

Check TAP Recycling.

Ask them to take the rubber off a newer SC.

Question Wind noise from Sun roof

I can hear wind noise from Sunroof when I drive on a freeway (60-70mph).
If the Sunroof shade is closed, it reduces the noise a lot and it is fine (still can hear a little).
But if the shade is open, I can hear it clearly and it is annoying.

I tried to hear it from other Lexus (newer or other model) and I do not hear it at all.

I think that it is the rubber (seal) around the sunroof. It is not leaking when it is rainning though.

Just wondering, how about other SC that you guys have.....!!!!
Do you hear same thing like mine?

FYI, mine is 95 SC4 with 76K miles on it.

Hopefully the triple digit speeds were reached on tracks, because it doesn't strike me as being in the safe nature of clublexus to endorse excessive speeding on public roads, RIGHT GUYS?

no one endorsed triple digit speeds...we all say drive safe and wear your seatbelts to as many members as we can...but on the flip side we even have a "racing stories forum"...so you can call it as you want...
