there are several threads on how to do this. four screws on the bottom, one behind the inside door handle, two under the armrest, two at the front side of the door. Replace little yellow clip on control arm. DONT roll down the window.

I rolled down my window and the little arm that connects to the door handle got caught, therefore ripping it off. The whole assembly is $220 at Carson Toyota. Still didnt get the clips needed either. You cant just reattach the arm.

is the yellow clip a dealer only item, or can it be fabricated? if it can be built, i will build it!

Yes, the clip is a dealer only item. Its only 99 cents though, so go factory. I can think of a more solid idea with tack welding a washer on one side and drilling a small hole for a cotter pin on the other.

Default AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!

well, spaceman thinks he's finally got it under control. (he hopes!) it seems as if though the rod got a thorough bending when the ol' lady try'd to roll the window down. just found this out, and without seeing this beforehand, i didnt know what the arm should look like. anyways, i think ive got it back in its proper shape, but i still need the clip. its nighttime here, so i think ill try to fabricate something that will be stronger. any suggestions? im at some family house for the weekend with minimal tools. thanks
