Tail Light Problems

You posted earlier that you only had power to one side of your fuse.
Was that tested with the fuse in or out?
If your fuse is in the socket and a good fuse you should have power to both sides of the fuse.

make certain the contacts on the WIRE coming out of the back of the fuse box are mating good with the fuse holder, then follow the wires from there... find out where the voltage stops.

Tail Light Problems

You did not address the post as posted.
You sent him to the tail light to start the trace from there,
It is obvious he has no idea how to use a VTVM Meter.
I just deduced that if he doesn't know how to use any kind of a meter that he obviously had not checked his fuse.
Sorry if I stepped on your directions, but from his posts he does not have a clue what his meter can do for him.

So he went to the load, didn't find anything, then i sent him to the source. Once he get's to the source and pulls the fuse block out, he'll not only find out if the fuse is passing voltage on both sides, when he is done he will be able to verify that the contacts and wiring near the fuseblock are on and not cut or spliced.
If you know the history on the car, you'd know why i want him to do it in this specific order and what to look for. More wires have been cut into on that car than have been left alone. He's verified the load has no voltage, now he will be at the source to look for spliced wires, bad contacts, and in the process the fuse will check out good or not good by the order of the other processes surrounding the procedure.
He doesn't have to know "why" i want him to do it in this order, he just needs to do it in this order and he'll find the problem.
Jonny just replaced his entire engine in the car, he isn't stupid. If i tell him to ground the black wire on the voltmeter and use the red to probe, it'll get done right

Wiring Problems
OLT
Just did a little searching on this member and his car problems.
Now I understand.
Sounds like somebody butchered all the wiring on his car.
Man he has had some problems.
Hope he has wiring schematics to work off of.
If not I have all the wiring schematics for a 93 SC 400.
He can PM me with his needs and I should be able to scan them and email them to him.
Man what a challenge.
