New To The Forum
hey.. i see new people joining this forum and giving explanations why they joined. i want to become part of the community, i feel kind of distant right now. So i'm going to let you guys know why exactly I joined clublexus.com and how i came about buying my sc300.
in the beginning of 2002, i found a guy in my neighborhood who had just crashed his toyota supra n/a
by late 2002, i had gotten my brother to help me fix the car
early 2003 - i saved enough money for a fmax turbo kit, vielside body, stillen front, and new paint..
late 2003 - wrecked the car when drag racing on the belt pkwy.. no insurance at the time
had no insurance so was forced to take my loss.. pulled the car to my drive way and left it there for a month . decided i was going to part it out due to extensive chassis damage. took out my turbo kit and other minor parts. then found someone from Florida who wanted the entire car, so sold it to him. w/out the turbo kit. i got whatever i could get for it (not much)..
early 2004-began looking into sc300 as i heard it came in manual transmission and was like the supra's cousin. i originally wanted another supra but prices has increased dramatically. instead i went for the sc300 because i found a good deal on autotrader..
decided to buy to the sc300 with money i got from the wrecked supra.. threw in my turbo kit, and have been rocking it stock since.. except for the turbo kit.
recent purchases.. i am very indecisive and like to try things on and just sell whatever i don't like.
vertex body kit $1800 (used)
erebuni ground effects $850 (brand new)
supra tt wheels - off my n/a supra
bbs rxii's $2600- close out store so i got a good deal
racing hart c4's $550- bought used
tokico suspension drop 2.5 " $675 - originally made for supra
ACT clutch $365
Sylvania Silverstars $30
Cusco strut tower bar - $175

Welcome to the club, i see you are from NEW YORK. Fine city to be in from what i hear. Lot's of SC'S seem to be in NEW YORK. You should be able to meet up with some other members from your area there.
See if you can arrange a meet with them, Club Lexus guy's are great guy's to know. You NEW YORK guy's should get together. We have some custom rides in your area.
