I heard you could do this.... Do any of you know what part needs to be modified? I want to order an HKS Ti for a Supra and put it on my SC300, but don't want to have to ruin it or anything to make it fit.

Default Wouldnt it be cheaper to.....

It's cheaper to get a custom exhaust done for your car. A custom exhaust (single 3" cat back with Y -split to 2 x 2" 1/2) cost about AU$800 which is about US$450?? Do the headers and get a straight thru cat (Cataclytic converters are damn expensive) and that should up the price another US$400 ?? get some nice tips for your dual outlets and that's that. It's definitely cheaper than getting a HKS and cutting and shutting it in. and probaby more free flowing :P. The only problem is refinement in exhaust sound. If you go to an exhaust place that knows what they are doing, then they'll measure and tune your exhaust so that it doesnt sound like a cheap honda at idle, but only lets it's intentions known on full throttle. HKS have done this very nicely.

That's my opinion tho...

Cheers,

Toan.

Default Also....

The HKS exhaust is a bit low... ie.. here is the HKS 3" single pipe Super Dragger on my car...

But I admit that it does sound classy.

Cheers,

Toan.

Default well

I have a Greddy MX system on my car right now, and am not going to change it unless I can put a HKS Ti on it... I really don't like custom exhaust (sorry), but I have never heard one that was worth a damn... They all sound cheesy and resonate horribly (at least the ones made around here do).... I heard from someone on this board that a supra exhaust would fit with minimal modifications, and just want to know what needs to be done! I had the Ti on my Supra TT and loved it.. If I could fit one on the SC I would do it, but if not I will just leave the exhaust that is on it right now.... The Greddy is nice enough for now, but I would prefer the Ti.

BTW, the Greddy will be for sale if I put the Ti on, so if anyone would be interested let me know!
