Default Good price for a turbo SC300?

I have the inside track on a very highly modified sc300. It's a 93 w/100K plus miles on it but only 5K on it since the 2jz-gte motor was put in. It's used only as a show car.

The car was built by one of the more reputable Turbo Supra companies around. They're also going to warranty the work done.

IT's a 2jz-gte motor with a T-78 Turbo, aftermarket brakes..intercoolor, getrag 6-spd, LSD, new driveshaft, etc etc. They're asking 25K for it.

Is that a good deal u think?

The car itself is probably worth 10..but the work done on it is easly 30-40K of engine/tranny stuff.

wanted your opinions on it.

Oh by the way..the car does well over 600 whp...

looks a tad overpriced to me for a 93. What type of tuning does it have?

if you've got 30 k to drop, sounds good.. but you could do the same for half price

you can get a sc300 body for 5k and then motor and all that put in like 10 k and if you are mechanically inclinced, im sure it would be possible to do the work yourself if you just have some patience and some time .

personally i wouldn't pay 30k for that.. but hey if you've got the cash then do it.
im sure you can get your money back at shows or races.

dont know what you want to do with the car after you've got it

The SC300 has

18 inch blitz tecnospeed Z2 wheels, 8.5 in the front and 10s in the back 285/35
Rotora brakes 14 in the front..6 piston..13 in the back..4 piston
Greddy T-78 turbo
Tein HE-drift spec coilovers.
Greddy 3 row intercooler
Greddy Typc CH Wastegate
HKS SSQC BLow-off valve
HSL Fuel rail. 700cc blitz injectors
Veilside Intake Manifold

Crower Rods/JE pistons ARP headstuds
Greddy Headers, exhaust system
Greddy gaugest etc.

Battery is relocated in the trunk to accomodate the veilside intake manifold.

IS that worth 30K?
It has 640whp..so it's close to 800 engine hp.

btw...what would I do with it???? Drive it!!!

If you have the dough go for it, I'd prefer to buy one already build up with a warranty instead of trying to piece up and build it myself. At least you know the tuner is reputable. I say go for it! ...after haggling as much as possible of course

car sounds sweet though! Good luck dude.

Default Dark Green

The car is dark green. I dont' want to post pictures of the car for:

1) To not publicize the car for others to jump at the offer =)
2) To keep the anonymity of the tuner.

The warranty is what cinches it for me Tony. Having a reputable shop backing a car they know in and out goes a long way in my book, especially since it may pose a problem to just drive the car up to a shop and ask them to do some work. I'd be afraid the gorillas mess something up.

Good luck getting the car Anthracite!

Good point.

How many modified cars come with a warranty? Especially from a known shop. If you got the $$$, I say go for it.
