Default My Sc300 Photoshoot!!!

Finally got my friend over for a photoshoot with my SC.. He happens to be the same friend that pushed me into buying the SC when I was considering it. He had looked for a black/black 5speed years ago. It ties with my 12sec N/A Type R has the best car I've owned. Excuse my 4 lugs per wheel, but we had to use what we could find because the lugs off his car didn't match my thread pattern.. Also excuse the muffler hanging down as Toyota has been slow getting me my hanger. The old one snapped due to rust. Only mods currently are the SSR comp. wheels (F.17x8.5 & R. 17x9.5) with PS2 rubber.. And the always must have item, JDM emblems.. Enjoy and feel free to tell me what u think.. I enjoy hearing from fellow owners..
1st day of Ownership

My personal favorite pic

Just a few of the many pics we took.. Enjoy

Since we had only 4 lugs per wheel I haven't yet driven it hard, but you can feel the difference right away.. When my friend had these wheels on his 300ZX with HKS Hypermax coilovers and the rest custom made suspension.. He drove 100 miles before selling the Z and selling me the wheels, but they are extremely sticky, quite, and ultra responsive.. Its a awsome tire for performance style driving..

Default your sc300

Love the car but not really feeling the wheels. It's just my opinion and I'm entitled to it.....no harm intended. I don't feel tuner type wheels look that good with our car. It's a sport luxury coupe....emphasis on luxury. Tuner wheels seem to de-luxurize it (hey, new word).
Again. no harm intended. It looks okay just not like a luxury coupe. Heck, what do I know....that might be your intention. LOL.

I see your point "Regg", but also I have owned many different types of performance cars which include 2 5.0L Mustangs one being a GT, other a Cobra, a 4.6L SOHC Mustang, a 98 Camaro SS vert, a 98 Firebird, and a 97 Integra Type R with a built all motor 2.0L which was running 12's.. I have worked in many different shops and on many cars from BMW, Audi, Benz, Porsche, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, and Lexus. Personally I think that the SC has many things going for it. The framework for a true sports car is there just it needs to exposed.. SC's are rare to see modded and for good reason becuase they cost less, take less work, and are easier to build. With a mild suspension setup, LSD, minor weight reduction, and good tunning the SC can be just as good if not better.. I am going to prove my point with my SC. Sorry for going off on a whim, but my friends had the same doubts til I began to prove my SC's worth to them. The SC also has a weight dis of 53/47 which is the same as the 350Z.. During WOT and hard driving, the balance shifts to perfect 50/50.. Best Motoring tested the 350Z against a E46 M3, S2000, Boxster S, with the 350Z beating all of them.. Ok enough talk enjoy the pictures..
Sorry the long windedness

1JZsoarer to answer your questions.. "JDM" said enough has to relate to my co-workers at Lexus.. They give me crap 24-7 about removing the Lexus emblems.. I reply to them with "JDM" and walk away.. Plus I have a sticker on my rear window that says "I love JDM".. Mostly it relates to people who don't know WTF a Soarer is... I have got more JDM stuff then the emblems, but haven't put them on yet..

As for the "2JZ No *****" you haven't seen the F&F enough.. Its mocking the part when the pop the hood on the Supra.. Its all in good fun.. Most people get it right away, others look at me funny..

I am looking for the website that listed all the information were I got the fact about 53/47 weight dis.. They also listed every spec for every year SC.. I will post it up when I find it again.. Sorry if I was wrong, but was going by what seemed to be correct information posted on this website..

Very nice and clean car. I like everything minus the badges because imo, they look tacky. "JDM" = overrated.
