Anyone in this forum change the spark plugs yet?
How much did you pay for it?
How much did you pay for the wires?
When should I change the wires & plugs?

I have not done it yet, but plan to soon - I have 66k miles on my '92 SC300.
1. I have had great experience getting OEM plugs from NAPA. Other places you can try is www.parts.com, www.thepartsbin.com where they sell oem stuff for cheaper than the dealer.
2. You can also get the wire set from the places above. I believe for the SC300, I was quoted about $80.00.
3. I believe the recommended interval is 60k miles. The spark plug replacement seems rather laborious, relatively speaking. On mine, one has to take out the throttle body, etc. to get at all the plugs. This is part of the reason why I am planning mine carefully. That and the fact that my car already runs very well now....
Good luck and be sure to post your experiences.

Thanks mdfdsc300,
I am going to have a Toyota mechanic (my brother friend) changing the timing belt this Friday. I'll get to see and help so I'll know what need to be taken off for changing the plugs, caps and rotors. My brother just called to tell me the price of the spark plugs $84 + that's why I have to check around to see if this is a good price
