29 Houston, TX 98 SC300.
I saw my first one in middle school and just drooled over it. However, I also saw my first 3000GT in middle school cause the art teacher (Mr. Moore) bought a brand new red VR4 in 1991. The guy wore silk shirts all of the time and his car cost more than what they paid teachers in a year. I think he was a gigolo on the side or sold cocaine.
Anyway, the 3000GT was my dream car for years and I got one right after college. I still eyed the SCs but the prices were what I felt were too high for a used car. Getting closer to 30 I started to value a smooth quiet ride instead of slaming through gears and having sharp handling. The one requirement I had with getting an SC was black with chrome wheels in 97+ so I would not need to do any cosmetic mods.
I LOVE this car! It feels like a giant boat and the ride is so smooth at 35 mph if feels like 10 mph and I get pissed at the car in front of me cause I think they are going 10 mph.
