When did they flare fenders on the SC 400
Hi,
I was looking at some of the pictures ppl have posted and noticed that some of the cars seem to have the front and rear fenders flared out a bit. My 1998 has these and I was wondering whenn Lexus did this?
thanks,
Jerry

lI think what I am calling flaring is really the side skirts and the bumpers. It gives the body side less of a flat appearance.

The sheet metal on the SC never changed. It was the same from 92 - 00. The plastics evolved 3 times thru out the evolution. 92-94, 95-96, and 97-00. Each generation had it's own front bumper, fog lights, and tail lamps. Only the 97-00 had revised rear bumper, spoiler, and side skirts. The headlights remained the same the entire production run.
