Default i am having alot of trouble fixing my window regulator

i need to fix the regulator in my passenger door, i am going to use a fix posted by OLT a while ago. the only problem is tham my door panel is stuck over the interior lock. the car was neglected for years, it is really a shame because it is beautiful, it was owned by some rich lady by the ocean and she just left it in the sun and never drove it, long story short, the plastic componets of everting are brittle, and already the plastic pieces of the door are breaking, i need some help, i just need to get the door panel off, and then maybe if there is a way to fix the cable type regulator while it is on the track, i really don't want to bend it!!! foe now that is my only choice. thanks to all who have any ideas.

I propped mine up with a stick. But removing the glass from the door entirely involves unbolting the clamp bit attached to the bottom of it. I recall someone on here saying that it takes a 14mm or 15mm wrench.

No, you do not need to bend the track. You should be able to feel where the glass is attached to the metal bit in question. There are 2 horizontal bolts on it arranged side by side.

are they backwards square heads, the metal part directly in contact with the glass

i made a caliper and tried it from my side, i made it before you suggested pliers, but now thw glass is still stuck on something and it will not lift up, and the regulator will not lift up either, something is jammed, but there is a piece of plastic in the bottom of the door so i know that it is a broken regulator, and it is simply not knocked off of one of the tracks....what could it be sought on??
