...how great this car handles?
Let's be honest, this car is heavy! At 3800+ pounds, this is not your typical sports car, but the handling is simply amazing. I look for sharp corners all the time. I drop it into 3rd and come out of those corners like a slingshot. Although the weight does tend to pull me hard into the apex of the turn. But I am really enjoying the drive. I just can't fight the laws of physics...is there a kit for that???
Now I think if I lower it about an inch or so, I might get even better handling to compensate for some of the weight.

you have the SC430 right its an awsome car Ive seen one sitting on coilovers slammed to the ground with some 20" rims on it get rid of those stock ones in my opinion they look ugly and cheap if you dont want bigger rims to fill in the wheel gap then just get some after market 18" rims and make sure you have your callipers painted to as that adds to the look of the car alot the stock callipers on lexus tend to rust and have a real ugly color to them in stock form

Yes indeed it handles better than you would think. While the drive off the apex is strong, there is some push evident on turn in. I seems that you need to turn the wheel more than you would expect to cause the front end to dive into the apex. The earlier supra based SC400 seemed to have a more intuitive stearing feel. How great it is to have a car that handles well, cruises silently, and drops it's top when desired. This is truly the great age of the automobile.
