How do you remove the center Console and shifter Handle from my SC 400?
I took out the O/D button [big mistake] thinking that a screw inside would release the handle. Now I can't get the button reinstalled.
I have lost the volume to my stereo system and am searching for answers.
Please help me.

Default I can help

Console Disassembly,
The first thing that you have to push the shifter all the way to the back "2"
Then at the bottom you will see a small jacket at the bottom of the shifter. This piece will slide down with ease. You will then see two very small phillips screws. Remove both of these and then the top piece of the shifter will silde off. Now Just open the cup holder and pull out with force. Then you want to take out the cup holder. This is very simple. Now you can snap off the black casing that says P,R,D, 2,1 get a flat head screwdriver and click it out of place. There are 2 screws under the cup holder, and the remaining screws are under the black piece of the shifter. Then you take out the ash tray.

The reason why you have no volume is because right behind the volume control there is a harness. This becomes disconnected very easily when removing your dash. If that is intact it may have become disconnected behind the radio. Let me know if you need further assistance.
