Well since your name is 1993SCTT , I would have to suggest spending the money on a turbo system

I went with the brakes, suspension and rims route. If i could do it all over again. I'd go turbo first. Ur forgetting the labor, that by itself is going to cost you a lot. It sucks to have almost any car out there to be able to beat you or come close. All I know is that from a stop light just driving normally , don't u guys notice that almost every car out accellerates us without hitting the gas hard? I'm talking about accords, camrys, maximas, just about anything.

Also guys, all I have been hearing is that the supra tt calipers aren't much diff than the ls400's. Have any of you guys experienced both brakes first hand yet? I have and to me, the supra tt calipers still stop a lot harder. I have sat in the ls400 and had my friend slam the brakes then I had my friend drive my car and do the same. Granted I have ss lines and the ls400 has a softer suspension. I doubt the lines make that much of a diff. The pads were both dealer pads, I didn't upgrade the pads until later on. Both cars were using dot 3 fluid. Same weather conditions and same location. One thing though, the ls400 had stock tire/rims on and I had toyo proxies t1-s 245/35/19 in the front and 275/30/19 in the rear. That maybe probably the thing that makes the biggest diff between the 2 cars. I dunno, maybe I am biased. I'm just letting you guys know my opinon and u guys decide which stops better from here. Although the caliper size/rotors are about the same, I doubt they both have the same stopping power or else why not just use the same exact brake system. It would save them time and money to just use ls400 brakes on the supra tt then.

Either way goodluck on your project. Whichever way you go i'm sure you will be happy with itt

oh , i forgot one more thing that you might want to add to your list.... hids

I think your right with going with brakes & suspension first before the turbo. It is terrible to have turbo with bad brakes and bad suspension. This is also reasoning with my list.. i think i'll do turbo last once everything is already set. But if you go turbo first, its good, someone would probably enjoy it.. but I think i'd be too paranoid. I did take into consideration of getting turbo first before anything else.. then people were telling me oh if you get turbo, then get this, and oh if you get turbo, then you gotta get this.. lol

Most of the labor will be done by me and my brother and possibly some friend will assist. I don't really do much on the weekend but work on the car and look forward to installing these parts. I need to take the advantage of a driveway as workspace.

It does suck to have almost any car beat me.. but I mean i can live with it if i've got my list done, but we'll see what happens.

Thanks

Well the TT brakes came first. So it would be TT brakes on the LS4. And I think they didn't try that because the LS brakes are more compact to fit under 16" wheels. Plus they are lighter and more modern. I love mine and don't desire anyore braking power so I'm quite content with them.

The lower costs and easy part availability combined with stellar performance makes it a no-brainer.

Wow, you are pretty impressionable... sell me your body kit when it comes in for $200, you can cover the shipping ( I don't mind). Lol.

That's a nice list. I'd say that you should do a little bit of everything. Make it an all around nice car. Don't go nuts with just one thing yet, but cover all of your bases. It's kind of like these body builders that run around with huge upper bodies and legs the size of my finger... i'ts just not right. Make sure you don't get off balance.

NOTE: this is coming from someone who doesn't have a single mod yet.
