Please follow the link and let me know what you think about my SC. I added platinum emblems and 18" wheels. All of the gold was removed. Let me know what you think!

Nice Coupe!!! The 18" wheels are nice too.. The interior is very clean...

What's up with the yellow fragrance tree in the interior pic?

What type of wheels and tires are you rolling? I like those!

"Hoops" are you still playing ball now and where?

You got me on the freshener IKON!
My wheels are 18" Konig Imagine and my tires are Kumho Ecsta 712's (Yeah I took the plunge!) So far I am very happy with them.
I "played" ball in 1991 with the Sacramento Kings. Believe me I was bench warmer and never got into a game. (I aint gonna lie to you). They called us hoop mannequins 'cause we didn't get to do anything.

No ball anymore. I have my hands full as a distribution manager in Pennsylvania. I do play for recreation though.

BTW, I have some much clearer pics at the site if you want to go back and take a look. Total of 19.

I like your new wheels and the wheel gap looks great. Did you lower the car or something? what springs?

The car "appears" to have been dropped but it hasn't at all. My tire size is 245/40/18 which fit perfectly. I did alot of research and measuring on various cars to get the right size. I almost went with 245/55/18 based on a Jaguar XK8, but I chickened out. The size I chose was based on the new SC430.

(After dealerships were closed I would pull up next to various vehicles and compare the tire sizes. Luckily no arrests!)

Peace

Default Wax

I'm a die hard Meguiars fan. I use Meguiars Gold Class wax. Here are some more tips:
- Always dry with a chamois. Never use a towel.
- Use a wash soap that preadds a wax. (Less abrasive)
- Do not spray tire dressing on your wheels. (When you start moving this will splash up on your paint.) I use High Endurance Gel by Meguiars. The best shine and no "spots" on your paint.
- Always wax in the shade baby!

Here's a link to the products:

Meguiars Gold Class

Hope that helps!

Wink NICE RIMS

Hey hoops...
I'm searching for rims BUT I'm not sure what will look good. Besides yours, any other suggestions? What do you think about those rims with a lip on an sc 4?

Hoops,

Sweet looking wheels.. Much better than the gold ones.. As for wax my preference will always be Meguiar's 3-Step Deep Crystal System.. Takes a bit longer to put on but its worth the effort.. Can't wait to apply it to my SC when I get her in September..

BTW did you do anything to the stock stereo in your ride?? Just curious

Ken

PS: Any problem with the tires rubbing in the inside of the fender with the size of rubber you put on??

If I can add one thing to your list.. Always try to wash your car in the shade..

Gene,

What color SC 430 did you order??
I'm still waiting for my Millenium Silver car to arrive as well.. Zaino is nice but way too much wait time involved between steps.. Just my 2 cents..

Talking it's okay...for a basketball playa

Just kidding hoops.

The car looks great man. I hated all that gold. I think going to the chrome was a great decision. The car looks fantastic. Not bling bling, just class and a touch of sportiness.

And I have to agree with IKON, you have to lose the air freshener. A techinque I have used is to place it under the drivers seat if possible. Although with power seats nowadays it's too easy to get them stuck down there. But the car smells great and you don't have to leave it hanging around. Try it out.

And where is the NEON license plate frame??? I thought for sure YOU would get one...ha ha

Hey, you never told me what you thought of the HRE 542's? I might 'upgrade' to those at some point.

hoops_24, the car looks great! I like the look of the silver much better than the gold - love the red too!

Something I like to do for a nice interior smell is to use Zaino "Leather in a Bottle" for that interior leather smell...oh and it protects the seats too
