How does your SC run in the snow?

it snowed a bit here yesterday, it was fine. I am putting some 16" pos wheels and tires on it for the winter.
I dont get why you guys are scared to drive it in the winter, its just a car. For God's sake, I drove my 800rwhp mustang cobra VERT in the winter for the last 3 years until I got this car

the last time my SC was in the snow before i moved to orlando, i burried the speedo past 165mph! then again, i was trying to get out of my drivway in about 18 inches of snow. lots of sliding though once i got out. it was fun. just make sure you clean all that salt off!!

i got a week left of snow here in cleveland then Im moving out to San Diego....I've driven in the snow for 5 years with my SC so I'm basically use to it.....i hate coming up hill like everyone has said.....In that 5 years, ive gotten stuck in my mom's driveway a couple times last winter cause they didnt plow it for a couple weeks since she doesnt drive. Ive spun out on the highway twice first time it was a mad snow storm, i knew 2 other people who spun out that day, one in a crx and other in a pathfinder, and the other time was in a crazy rain storm going uphill and hydroplaned, highway patrol officer said i was like the 5th person he had to get towed out that day plus my tires were alittle too worn at that point......Lesson to everyone just to be careful out there when its wet or snowing

I never drove an SC in the snow thankfully... when i lived up north i had a 94 Civic CX hatch 5spd i used for a beater car... put the cheap front tires to 15psi of pressure, and it would go more places then 4x4 trucks. Snow covered icy road up a steep hill? noo problem

snowed nicely last night here in chicago. sc handled itself well with the supra wheels. sc never gave me a problem for the 3 1/2 years ive owned it in the winter. got stuck once and at really stupid spot though lol, i was less than a block away from where i was heading!

So far i am having fun with mine. I wasn't gonna drive it in the snow but it is all stock for now. Once i start doing major mods that will change. Besides...driving a car in the snow is not bad for the car...its the salt and sand. So as long as you wash it a lot you should have no problems!!

pullin my sc in the snow for the last 3 years, never got stuck (knock on wood). it aint no fun when your climbing hills and you got rims, i cant afford seperate wheels and tires for the winter, or a beater. trac off button is also your friend! however once your on flat road: its drift heaven . i plan on usin it less and less every year in the snow, and just carpoolin.

to answer your question, sideways
when i had mine i:
had my 275s and had a quick cold snowstorm come in while i was at work. Only about an inch on the snow but got stuck reversing out of my spot. Called home for a ride.
To my house, there is a drive up a very mild hill. Got stuck going like 5-10mph. Luckily I reversed and did drove up it again, cold street with a couple inches.
Drove on a Colorado blvd and was in the middle of an intersection when it turned yellow. I didn't want to get stuck in the middle of the intersection, so I gave it a .. little gas. Tail end kicks out but I compensate and all. All good
I've never had a problem with stopping, even with the 275s. But it's all about the tires. I had some really nice all season tires on the IS300 rims and the SC handled the snow like a champ.
