Pics from the Galveston "MINI" meet today
Today we had a "MINI" meet down here in Galveston. It was so "MINI" that it was actually just Khaos and I. Khaos showed up at my house at about 9 or 9:30, then the meet moved... (around back into my garage!) Once the meet had moved, we began the real fun- swapping Khaos' stock suspension for a Supra TT Eibach/ Bilstien combonation. The fun lasted alost 3 hours, as we worked on the car. Anyways, heres some pics (you can see my DIRTY lex peaking around the corner behind Khaos' car in some of these shots.
-larger photos can be found in the gallery
BTW- we got the suspension swap on the SC down! I was really impressed that it only took us a little under two hours to complete the install.

Thanks again sc400texas!
I honestly can't stop staring at my car. I've fall'n in love again.... It looks ten times better than before.
Before the install, I could fit 4 fingers inbetween the front fender and tire. Now, I can barely fit one finger in. I love the feel of the ride and I love the stance. It's glorious. I was one of those guys that was afraid the ride would be too stiff. But it's not!!!
sourcemine - Yup, those are 18x8 'Mille Miglia Spider I' cheapo rims with 245-40-18 tires. I know they're not exactly the type of rims that most people on here like to see on a Lexus, but I got the rims shortly after I got the SC300 and before I even knew there was a wonderful website called "Club Lexus". They are, however, better than the stock 15x6.5s which were in horrible shape.
ToySoarer - Thanks. Can you believe its dirty?
got_trd - I'm up for a shoot now that my car is lowered. I don't know why I waited so long to do it. silly me. I guess I spent too much time SEARCHING on this website (wait, I don't think thats possible). doh!
96sc3 - I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean "is the driver side lower than the passenger side". To this question, I would say only slightly; maybe an eighth of an inch difference. If you mean "is the front lower than the rear", I would say yes (maybe 3/8" lower). I like it that way. I got these springs used from P. Williams so they have pretty much already settled in.
blacksc400 - I'm sorry to hear that.
Other background information: Its a 92 SC300 with 90,XXX miles on it and 15% tint. Tint, rims, drop....that's all the SC really needs to look good in my opinion.
Here is the only picture I have of my car before the drop:
:\end rant
:\must stare at car some more

....good job... it seems when i'm driving around town, I'm the only lowered SC on the road,... so good to see another joining the fold! I've gotten so used to seeing mine lowered, that stock height SC's look funny to me....
