yeah this is what i have.
my battery light came on this morning and I checked the the whole ignition system. there was a bunch of engine oil on my alternator and underneath the distributer. And for the past couple of weeks I was scratching my head as to why I was losing so much oil in the engine.
I'm dropping it off at the shop tomorrow to have it fixed.
good thing that the PS is on the other side for the sc300.

That would be awesome -- please PM if it works out. I'm looking for a good (cheaper) mech in the SF bay area (although perhaps San Fran proper is a bit far). I'm tired of getting screwed by the local lexus mob (I think I've spent ~4 grand with them in the past few months).
My maintenance/repair bills have been ridiculous recently (almost as much as the car cost); in the past few months I've bought new tires, fixed cracked egr pipe, 2 * transmission flush (the first time the mech used the wrong fluid!), brake+fluid replacement, replaced throttle control, replaced air flow meter, replaced O2 sensor, (in the process of) replacing differential (with a resealed SH one) and replaced the Fuel Pump ECU.

hahah I pooped in my pants when I saw that number in this thread but my mechanic said he can get a new alternator for $160, replace it and fix the leaky distributor all for really cheap.

got a quote of $380 to replace the alternator with a new one and fix the leaky distributer o-ring to stop the oil leak.
Do you guys think there could be some damage done to the distributer or does it has to be replaced?

well i got may car (95 sc300) back with the alternator replaced, new battery and the leaky distributer o-ring replaced and now the car runs as good as new 
The o-ring seal next to the distributer was cut in half which caused the engine oil to leak on to the alternator and frying it. I tested the battery before the fix and it read 11.5 v and after it read a healthy 14.13
Jose (the mechanic) was very thorough, on time and explained everything to me.
