Default SC400 Amateur photoshoot (1MB) 10 photos

The other day I had a lil free time so I decide to do a shoot to show you fellow SC300/400 owners. Car was clean 3 days before the shoot so it might look a lil dirty. Hope you like these pictures. Nice sunny day for a photo.

did you have your bodyshop cut out that upper grill? Not diggin that, maybe slap in a 97+ grill there and get the 97+ fogs and it'll look cleaner...

I assume it's a VIS kit? Looks like the shop had to bend the sides in to fit the car...

any choices for rims/drop?

the grill is not cut out. I don't plan on doing anything to the car soon. I have to pay for school/gf/bills/car/going out/other hobbies, so that doesn't leave much to spend.

car looks nice, i like the color
bumper isn't fitting too well, not sure if you can do anything about that though
a 97+ grille can be purchased for $40 (used)
and fogs can be purchased for around $100 (used)
they also have some pretty good deals on used 97+ door mouldings..not sure if you want those but check out pics, i think it will make a big difference once i install mine.

these are pre 97 lower door mouldings

these are post 97 lower door mouldings

I like this color on SCs.

With a set of new wheels, new darker tints and perhaps bigger exhaust tips, it'll be all ready to go.

Where in CA are you from? It'd be awesome for you to come by one of our meets sometime.

Default Car looks good!

Lots of keen eyes out there...lol. Very good observations though! Car looks good man. I kinda like the grill the way it is, makes it look a little meaner...lol!

car looks nice, i think the grill is a little too high tho, definately gives away the fact that its a vertex knock off, but then again you probably paid 1/4th the price of the vertex kit

Yea 19" rims, 97+ foglights, and a custom catback would be nice. I only wish i had the money for all that, trust me, if i did have the money i would. I love my car and am very **** bout it, but unless u have money there's only so much you can do. The grill does give it away if you know about the bodykit. I got the kit+install basically "free". Most of the money or all the money i put in this car is maintance and keeping it clean as i can. I don't think any mod will go on this car anytime soon. Thank you for all you response. I didn't take these pictures to show off my car. I wanted to share some pictures with you fellow sc owners and not exclude myself from the forms.

great start.. too bad nothing else will be done.. IMO, take off the kit.. i'd rather drive a stock car than have everything stock with just a kit... doesn't look right.. but thats me...

Hey man,

Car looks awesome - love the color. The only thing that I would really suggest is the foglight holes - fill them or cover them.

Apart from that it looks

Peace,
Jonny

The kit looks nice on your car. I got an exact same kit on my car. I like it all but I hate the front bumper. It flares out on the lower side too much. I wish that I can bend the flare in for at least 1" but I couldn't. It seems that it can break.

go back and see if they can repaint the body kit. the color on the body kit is much lighter than the car itself. other than the bad color matching the car looks clean.

looks ok.. It needs a drop and some rims and it'll be baller. The bottom corners on the front bumper need to be pushed in some.. A good body shop should be able to do that for you
