Come to think of it, An exact glass replica of a '95-'96 foglight lens, can probably be produced since it's fairly flat...A glass replica headlight lens might be a bit trickier to produce since it's curved.

Glass is cheap. Working with glass and making molds and such to make it right is the expensive part.

I was certain that 2000 model SC's had glass headlights. Am I wrong?

Even in the last year production the SC300/400 didn't have glass lowbeams.
how I wish that were not true....

Lol I'm so sorry to bring this back up, BUT I still think someone should make glass headlight lenses for our scX00's!! Haha, only reason I looked this up was because I painted my high beams/ head light housings and only one of the oem high beam was glass.... found it out by a piece breaking off of the glass high beam when taking the lens off... thank god I have an extra plastic high beam lens. Didn't know to be careful since I used the same pressure to pull off the glass lenses of the other 3 plastic lenses... needless to say I randomly pulled the glass lens off last...

seriously though glass low beam/headlight lens vendor needs to become reality!!

Not to add to this but the earlier year SC's come with plastic high beams.. 93 - 95.. Glass came from the 96-00.. If you have glass high beams in your early years then they were replaced.

This thread is xtra old! Hate to brag here guys but there is a glass company here call "unlimited glass" and they made and glass front for my low beam lights. Took them about a week to mold them. paid 100$ for each and they fit exact. attached them back to the housing! BAM!!! glass lights.
