Glass Headlights
do they make them for sc's. maybe the german version or something.

i know that they make them for the supra..
and i have seen high beams on the SC that were glass..
not sure about the headlights though..

the highbeams are indeed glass -- I've got a rather large shattered fragment right here next to me.
the reason why the MKIV has glass headlights as an option is because the MKIV was sold in Europe.
The SC4/3 wasn't, so hence, no euro glass headlights.

are glass high beams oem? my 93 ones are plastic.. but i've seen people selling glass ones.
if they are oem, then i am assuming they were only available on newer models?

thinking about it, my 93 SC400 seemed like it was plastic, but when broken, it was definately glass.
It doesn't feel like glass when you tap on them, but they're definately glass.

ok guys lets slow down...high beams are glass....low beams or headlights are plastic...i think people are getting a little confused.

oh so then i guess it was nonsense when people said "glass healight will never yellow" b.c my fogs need a good cleaning.

I"ve seen some highbeams that fogged up for some reason...It made them look like its made of plastic...Glass is not full proof after all...
