Fog lights or not??
#1
hey guys,
I wanted to light more of the road at night. My front spoiler lights are not working, do these work with the turn signal or are they fog lights.
My car is 92 sc400. Is there a replacement bulb that anyone can recommend? Is there a conversion kit to make them fog lights.
thanks,
007

007, I have a 1992 SC300 and the lights u r talking about only come on when ur headlights r turned on and u put on the blinker. I think i saw apost a while ago about rewiring them to come on w/ the headlights, but they r angled farther to the side than fog lights, so u would have to change the angle for them to be safe to others. I'm thinking about buying some universal fog lights and putting them on the bumper. Will let u know what it looks like.

me too!
I also have a '92 SC300 and am considering fog/driving lights. I'd be interested if you can post pics and instructions of the installation. I have been taking my time on this one because I want it done right....

Wiring Corner Lights...
I have a 92 SC400 and I had my corners wired so that they're on when my headlights are on.
I will post some pictures up in the gallery when I have a chance to transfer my pictures from my camera.
It makes a big difference at night. Also gives a better look too!

no diagram...
there's not much of a diagram for this setup...
you basically connect your corners to your side marker wires...
I didn't do it myself but I think that's what they did.
Most speedshops would do it for you easy for like no more than $20. I wouldn't do it myself either because it looked like a B*tch working with the little space the engine bay offers...
I'm sure some guys here know the exact procedure...
