If you can, try to go to the paintshop or have someone with the photoshop skills to chop that IS color on your SC4.

In my humble opinion, factory always design certain colors to go with certain models. What looks good on the IS may not look so good on the SC and vice versa.

There's a guy from the BMW board with a red M3 that has been repainted in Lamborghini red. I was surprised when I saw the finished product. Even though the paint job is top notch, in my opinion it actually would've looked better had he chosen to go with the BMW red.

Obviously, Lamborghini red looks just right on Diablos and Murcielagos.

Why not get a turbo kit first? Then, afterwards, you can paint the car whatever color you want
Cars that make big power can do whatever they please

I kinda like it.. I would paint it a little darker though, with some carbon fiber stuff (hood, lip, mirrors, trunk, etc) But the only reason im not going that route is b/c theres already a gold one on the west coast i believe that just did that.. Top Secret style

Oh, dont worry, I'm doing my engine swap before I do paint and body work.

Yeah Chino, there is someone that already did the Top Secret gold color, which is why I was looking at the IS color. So I wouldnt be completely copying him. And the IS color would still look with carbon fiber accents.

If you are yanking the engine, why not paint the car completely? Then you don't need to worry about the bay not matching.

Save up and wait. Why be forced to paint your car a color you don't really like instead of waiting a little bit to do it right the first and last time?

I do like these colors though. That, and the fact that my entire drivetrain is a ticking timebomb at this point, so the sooner I do my swap the better.
