It was really easy and straightfoward. Nothing special to watch out for comes to mind. There is plenty of room to maneuver the caliper and replace the pads. Do a search on the subject, I believe there were instructions posted including wrench sizes, etc. to use. I did all four. It took about an hour.
I went w/ OEM pads as the ones on the car before the change squeaked a little.

Ok, so I was able to do one side without much difficulty. Now on the other side no matter what and after f**ing with it for 2 hours I still cant get the damn clips in with the pads.
There are two of these spring clips which were between the pads. I realize these keep slight pressure to keep the pads apart, what is the trick to getting them in? Can I just loose them? why did it work so easily on the other side. ARGH.

Hi,
I try to install new brake pads and resurface my rotors. The calipers were no problem, but I could not figure out how to remove the rotors. Chiltons told to me remove the hub bolt the torque plate, but what the hell are those? Please help or give instructions?

Carboxy,
To remove the rotors you need to get two bolts (metric, but I forget what size because I bought a few different sizes at the hardware store to avoid multiple trips but I think they are M 8 ) and thread them into the threaded holes on the rotor near the wheel studs. As you tighten the bolts (alternate back and forth so as to pull evenly) through the rotors into the hub, and the bolts will pull off the rotors.
Before you reinstall the rotors, clean and gease the hub and rotor mating surfaces with lubricant made for brake parts and you will never have to use those pulling bolts again.
Good luck.
