Default Trading in for a 97 sc300 , what do you guys think ?

First off I have and Acura Rsx-s and a 99 gs300 . Im getting tired of the rsx and i jsut want another lexus to match the gs300 .ALso I was wondering would it be better to just get like a 95 sc300 for say 5500-7k or should i just go ahead and get a 97? I kinda want a 5spd also and how hard are they to find ? Say like 1 out of 25 are standards? I found a 97 sc300 automatic for about 10,500 it has 122,000 miles on it . Is that a good price ? They said they would work with me on the price . I was thinking maybe if they dropped the price down to like 9-9500 , then i would probably get it , here are some pics , tell me what you think , thanks alot.

You should be able to find that year SC300 w/ similar miles for $7500-8500. It looks like your buying it from a dealer. Does it include a warranty of any kind?

yeah it is from a dealership , and i called today and they said it was on being sold for someone on consignment.I didnt ask about the warranty , but im sure i can get the price down , because im in no rush to get the car. But i think its going to be a little tough to knock the price down 2k since thats what the dealership wants to make off of it.

$10.5 is a little bit high I think. But if you can get it for $9k, I'd take it. If not, there is a few local(to me) black 97 auto's that I know with about the same amount of miles for $9k-ish.

5-speeds aren't as rare as some people may think. Check the classifieds, there is always one or 2 5-speeds for sale.

there is a huge difference between pre 97 and post 97. my vote foes for the 97.
sell the ac and wait until you can find a 97+ five speed and go for that
