I was wondering if maybe someone who has done this little project can help me out. I own a 93 SC300 and was looking into converting the cornering lights to foglights. I followed a list of instructions very carefully off of intellexual.net and now my car doesnt hold a charge. Someone help!

In other words you have a dead short from improper installation.

Either you did it wrong, or pinched a wire. (or both)

So how would I be able to fix this little problem. There are no blown fuses. So far Im just blaming it on the battery. It was totally empty. I refilled it with distilled water and left it charging overnight. I just hope its not the alternator.

Its not the Alternator. Its the battery. Bad core.

you know how convenient it is to dignose a bad core at the exact moment you do a mod and things go wrong ?

I'd say the battery deep cycled itself from full discharge from a short, but we'll know in a few days, eh?

Yeah dam battery! I have to wait til thursday to get a new battery though. As for the cornering light conversion, Im going to plan B.

I think it would make everyone's life a whole lot easier if someone who has successfuly done this would post up detailed pictures with a clear set of instructions.
