Glad they found it. I hope it's OK. Make sure that when you see it for the first time, it's with a camera, and at the same time as the adjuster inspection. Also, get a copy of the police report if you have not already. Lexicon is right...some of the crooks just happen to work in the towing yards, so document everything and keep tabs on stuff.

Guy's please stop spending hundreds on alarms. They are worthless for the most part. Get a $99 dollar alarm that makes noise and create a custom kill switch. All alarms are pretty much installed the same way and thieves know exactly which wire to cut to shut it up, starter kill on an alarm relays is a joke, custom starter kill is the only way to make that effective.
The true and only system that works is lojack. They will literally watch the car drive down the road and surround the suspect. Tracking it the entire time, never giving the guy a chance to strip it.
This is the only system that will get your car back. an alarm can't tell you where it is..being chopped up.

lojack info
Hey OLT I am having the MG painted in a couple weeks and then the interior is going back in, it is a rag top and I had problems with theives in the past. What is this lojack you speak of? The car is kind of rare and I think this sounds pretty good.
PM me if you could, I don't want to jack.

A lil something about lojack you guys should know, we purchased lojack on my sisters car which was an 95' Integra it was the special edition so it had every option in the book. The lojack company says that they need a 24 or 48 hour time period in which they will find ur car, and if they do not they will give you your money back. On night some one stole the dam car right from in our driveway. So next morning we call them and let them know to activate the signal and so on. Long story short they call us about an hour and a half before their money back guarantee deadline and tell us its is about 15 miles away in sun valley. Now by this time the car had only a shell and nothing was recoverable and no one was ever caught....... so I would just recommend you making you own custom kill switch. I once had an auto shop teacher that had his kill switch in his cigarette lighter. The only way his car would fire up is if you would have presses in the cigarette lighter. So think along those lines and you guys should be set. Or just do what one of my friends with his 65' mustang does, take one of your spark plug wires then no one can take it that easily.

one more thing... Howmuch you guys would think I can sell my sc for when I get it fully covered??? I have another SC and might want to sell this one to get a LX470 which I already had a deal with???
It is 95 with 167000 miles... no matter what damage is on the car I will get it fixed back to like new condition before I sell it..
I spend total of 12800 on it before it gets stolen (including purchase price on the car) and I know for sure can't get it back... just want to know how you guys think people would pay for ... thx
