I'm heading out to look at an SC300 in a few minutes. When i get back i'll post up some pics and see what you guy's think before i buy. I've never had a 300, but the temptation to get this one for $3k is a strong pull.

If i get it, it will be a boost project. We'll see how it goes I'll report back later today with pics for your opinions.

Brian you obviously have too much cash on your hands. Give some of it to charity. I know one in particular comes to mind: "The Mikeloc Foundation" They sure could use a nice hefty cash donation

What color is this 300? How many miles? Give us some background on the thing will ya!

 

So how many whips will you then have in your driveway??
Thats a low price for an SC3....unless it's a beater. SC prices are dropping. Great if you want one, not so great if you own one.

Well it got dark, but here's the info on it. I WILL BE GETTING PICS IN THE AM.

It's a Silver (with a blue tint) '93 SC300 (what paint code is that?) . Auto, 150k, No damage, runs good. I told him to hang onto it and slid him a deposit. i wanted to get more time with it in the daylight (in the morning).

Looks good so far, i believe it's coming home

 

Hey B. My thinking may be off but I don't think they started using the Platinum paint until 95. Was it repainted? I've never seen a pre 95 SC that color.

 

i think theres a color similar to platinum.. but not exactly.
my neighbor has a 93, as you describe, silver, with a blue tint.
im heading out for a few minutes, im taking my camera with me, ill show you a picture of the color

or like vegas said, the car could just be painted platinum

 

 

Unfortunately in daylight, there were some issues i couldnt look past cosmetically. Trunk and hood were not a perfect match, and driver seat was destroyed completely.

 

I figured what the heck, i'll snap a few pics anyway.
