I am not quite sure what is is exactly..
But when I get in the car and take the e-brake off occasionally the light stays on, or it shuts off and when I drive in the first 5-10mns of driving when I brake the light comes on and when I come to a complete stop it goes off...
every search came up about the brake lights, not the dash light that says "BRAKE"..
anyone have any suggestions..
In the next few weeks or so, I'm going to need to do the brakes, new fluids... and I planned on removing all the wheels, and respraying my stock calipers a fresh coat of black ...
Is my shortbrake cable out of alignment? What else would trigger the light, the e-brake is off...

Check level yourself to be sure when engine cool -- of course, may be something else, but highest probability:
As the disc brakes wear brake fluid level in resevoir drops enough to trigger brake sensor. May be intermittent at first as fluid heats and expands to turn sensor off. On SC, level needs to be at full line.
Also light tends to come on more in cooler weather if level is slightly down. Likewise, when fluids check during maintenance, may have been at highest level if engine hot.
Good Lexus Luck it is only normal wear making the level drop.
