Default light bulb located on drive or passenger door

Does anyone know the correct size of the wedge bulb that is on either the drivers side or passenger side door panel. It lights up when you open the door at night.

I tried inserting a 168 bulb in t here and it didnt light up, i checked the size of the bulb and it is a japanese bulb labled 217. I went to autozone and they never heard of this size, I tried 168 and 197, both are no good. If anyone has had to replace the bulb on the passenger or drivers side door let me know what bulb fits, otherwise i think i have to go to t he dealer.

I placed a brand new 168 bulb in there and there was no luck in getting it to light up. Is there a fuse for just the passenger side door? If it is the fuse then would it affect my drivers side door, because the drivers side is fine.

Get a voltage meter or circuit tester and check the circuit. If the other door lights up and this one isn't getting power then it's probrably a broken wire. It happens because of the bending that occurs when you open and close the door. If this is the case then just splice in new wires from the interior to the door.

i replaced mine with 168 wedge leds and they fit fine. You have to put it in correctly though, mine didnt come on at first because i had them in wrong, then i flipped the bulb and then came on.
