awsome work, im not feeling the euro look, but if i had to choose i would say the first one looks best. i know alot of people are going to call rice and other stupid comments, but i have to say thoes designs look alot better than any other altezza/euro style tail lights i have ever seen. keep up the good work, hopefully you will make a design to please the majority of people.

I'm liking the first one the most. But arent you showing the LED lights without the cover?? You did show a picture of the MB lights later on?? I assume you are just showing off what style they will look like. If they have a clear cover, then they will be okay looking, but certainly not my cup of tea. If they have some sort of Red and Clear cover on them, then I will certainly like them. Keep up the good work. At least someone is trying to create something.

Wow a lot of mixed reviews. I'm sensing more negative than positive.
I'm not the person making the lights, but i've been contacted to see what kind of response they rececive. Well, the actual design comes from the new BMW 3 series tails, clear on top half, red led on the bottom. IMO I think those are some nice lights. I'm not feeling the altezza type of look myself, but I do think that the SC needs some new lights. Thanks all for the opinions, feedbacks and comments. All response will be taken into consideration.

Tony, actually, that's the plan. The tails will probably look closest to the 95-96 with red/clears+ LED's. But they've never made a design because you can imagine pretty much how it would like.

Yeah Leo, if it would be similar to the BWM style with red on the bottom and a clear strip of led's on the upperhalf, i'm sure that would be a crowd favorite...

for getting those designs...i know you'll get a nice pair out later...

If this is the plan then I'd buy a set! IMO, that would be perfect for the SC's.

As far as the design of those lights, I won't even comment. If I do, I will be banned forever on CL.

Moving on.

If these "things" ever get produced, chances are they will be cheaply made (like all the other aftermarket tails) and fade, leak, or crack after time. This is not a product that should be on a Lexus. I have never seen an aftermarket light that didn't look like a complete mess after a year on the street.

But if they ARE high quality (hopefully), they will cost over $600 and 98% of the people on this board will complain that it's too much money and they won't pay it. You can't get quality lights for $200, people. Many of you say "yea, make them!" but how many of you will actually be willing to put money down for these things? Everyone LOVES the clears on Takakaira.com but how many of us here have paid the premium for them?

I see no need. Especially when you have been blessed with 3 different stock sets to play with. If LED's are something you are DYING for, then retro your own into your favorite SC tail light and you're done. It's not that hard. Hell, we even have an in-house LED specialist that will custom make you your LED boards to YOUR specs. With all this at your disposal and only your imagination your limit and this APC-inspired chrome mess is what you want?

It's a shame that class has gone out of style. All for the sake of being different.

Just my opinion.

Jose has one of the nicer led setups out there. I wish i had '97 tails around when i originally started building these units.

I'd get a pair of the first ones. Like someone said, smoke the lens and then you'll get something really good going. Keep up the good work.
