So what do we need to get it done?

Unfortunately the LEDs still are only about 82% efficient, this means that they will put out only 18% of the power put into them as light, the rest is heat.
It's all in there, and these guys make some of the best and brightest, not just the kind that tell you when you computer is turned on.
Osram makes a nice strip light on a flexible circuit board that's low enough wattage to run w/out heat sinks, might be easier to mount inside the tail light housing.
The Audi A8 has LED headlights on their current model, an industry first, and they use a similar lense/diffuser as on the SC.
Agilent makes some nice individual leds that are encased inside of a glass optic that will mount to a circuit board, not sure about their thermal requirements however, as that will vary with wattage.

I too have seen some negative feedbacks with the 1st post and these were just an opinion post and we are happy to have received feedback. We are currently in the process of developing the clear tails such as the "takakira" ones and with LED lights. We will keep everyone posted. THESE will be the SC TAILS to look out for. along with the 97+ style ones with LEDs like the G35 and new 3 series vehicles
