hey...changers are expensive..if youre gonna do anything, you might as well get something aftermarket and go that route..maybe a bit more pricey..but changers in the SC are pretty weak...a lot of them have had to be replaced.

Default Got some to work.

Well, so far I am able to get two brands to work. One is the Samsung Premium cd's but they seem to be skipping. The other one is Verbatim, I believe.
Thanx again for all of the feedback.

Exclamation

I had the same exact problem w/ CD-Rs in my 92 SC 12-Disc Changer. So, after awhile, I gave up. Months later, I decided to put this cd I just made (after listening to it in my stereo) and it worked perfectly fine. NO SKIPS NO ERRORS. After that, before I put in a CD-R in the changer, I listened to the whole cd first in my stereo AND THEY ALL work now. WEIRD HUH? So, that might be a suggestion. Play it in your STEREO in the living room or what not and then put it in the changer. LET ME KNOW if it works!!?!?!?!?

Post tried reset?

I posted something about my cd awhile ago, it didn't work at all, then I reset it and it worked fine. Check prior posts for and see the pic I had up.

On my 92 SC300 w/ 12 disk...
The Sony green dye CDRs work fine.
Verbatim green works well, too.
I've also used the Maxell silver with good luck.

You just need to use GOLD CD-R's

Old CD players do not support the newer blue, silver and green discs.
