Default Can a SC300 tow a seadoo?

I'm thinking about getting a jet ski. Definately don't want to tow it with the supra. Can the sc300 handle a single jet ski?

I'd say go with a 78mm turbo and make sure you get the fuel to support it & then get a real high stall converter.. should make for some great towing power!

I think it would do fine, but I wouldn't push it long distance. Of course the suspension is going to be the weakest link..

there is a hitch available for the supra

there was a thread on supraforums a while ago with a tow hitch for sale. there were pictures of it on a red car. I dont recommend you do it though On hard launches the squat might be enough to break your jetski loose.

Yeh - you could even spin the trailer tires over

If he reinforces the hitch, he could use the trailer as a wheelie bar

The price of: tow hitch, tranny cooler, new rear shocks and tires eventually is probably more than just buying a cheap beater truck to use just for towing and other crap jobs like that.

I'm pretty sure an SC can tow a 3-man seadoo around, just be careful of losing traction on the boat ramp and having the back of your car dipped in the water.

When I purchased my SC300, it had a trailer hitch on it. I was curious as to what exactly was being towed so I asked. Turns out the guy had a waverunner(s?) so it must be able to do it. I still have the bar (hitch) that attaches to the car. I could put it up for sale I guess?

Ditto.

If your car is lowered and the ramp is not steep enough, your mufflers will have to go underwater before the jet-ski can come off.
After a few soaks, the mufflers have a totally different sound.
It can be done though and U-Haul sells a hitch for the SC.
