Default some more updates of my interior and such

THe last pictures shown of my car were of the interior completly gutted. I hated the brown/tan interior theme in my car and started to collect black parts. Since I didn't have all of them for a complete conversion, I opted for something differen't (for now). Basically everything that was brown, is now black (like the 97 rsp scs). The only tan parts that are now black are the front seats (98 supra) and the carpet. The interior still isn't done yet, so whatever is missing, will be installed later. Also, the wood is now black. I just didn't get around to the door panels yet.

and here are some other pics of the car.

it's a work in progress and I only get to work on it on the weekends. Hopefully friday we fire it up and after it runs, it gets treated with the 97 conversion and fresh paint.

Peter

I also wanted to get some opinions from others. Should I get a black arm rest or leave it tan?

Looks awesome, I'd go with a black armrest though, I think it looks kind of odd between 2 black seats.

BTW I like the 2 supra spares on the back

God DAMN Peter, I cant wait to see this thing in person in a few weeks, looks better and better every time. You dont take shortcuts with anything, which is the way to do it! I saw some black door panels on eBay a few days ago, might want to see if they are still there. And yeah, I would go with a black armrest in the middle too Talk to you later man!

did you just wrap the dash board over with black vinyl? is that original black carpet or did you dye your tan carpet?

Liking the 2 tone...looks sweet!

Scott-the corner lights were tinted yellow awhile ago

The dash is actually one of the easiest i've taken out. It's not that hard at all. Probably took me less than an hour by myself.

As for the interior, everything is original black except for the carpet. I couldn't find one anyhwere so I just dyed it, it looks more of a purplish color in the pics, but in person it looks jet black.

Go to any upholstery shop. I had mine replaced.

So you're saying your dash is black and it's an original part? If your dash is original, is their a passenger airbag i'm not seeing?

Kaotiq - you had your carpet replaced at an upholstery shop? how much?
