I just started getting those thudding noises. I thought it was my rack and pinion at first. Like you guys said, it could be the strut. I've been using a lowering spring on a stock shock for a long time now. And when I took out the shock to put the spring on, it was too soft. So Im hoping that could be it.

I have full daizen poly bushes on uppoer lower front and rear. I know these to be good as of last alignment just 4500 miles ago but I'll have it double checked.
what do you mean by top mount?
as for shockers I have TEIN's and the dampener is tested good
sway bushes are also daizen poly bushes front and rear.
wheel bearing... how do I check for this?
thanks

any chance it's a tranny mount? My wifes was making a "thudding" sound on the drivers side. It sounded forward of the shifter but behind the firewall. A new tranny mount cured it. It was only in specific situations it would appear. This was on a '94 SC400 w/ 120k miles. Good luck diagnosing it.
