Question American Racing any good?

Is the American Racing brand of wheels any good?

Sorry for the newb question but I couldn't find anything about them on the forum.

I think Pep Boys sells those. So in my opinion I don't think any aftermarket products from Pep Boys is any good.

these wheels are crap. Years ago when I was a tire tech (GS) a another shop I would balance these wheels and they were always 5oz or more out of balance, and some I couldn't even zero out. Plus I see alot of these rims bent. I would never buy a set of these unless it was for a truck or SUV.

Depends on the wheels. American Racing imports and/or owns other companies including Japanese brands.

American Racing Wheels are not typically found on our cars. They tend to be more popular in the domestic hot rod type tuning and truck tuning. I would recomend a wheel better suited for our cars. Give us an idea of your budget, and we can point you in some directions.

AR is good rims at good price.... I have AR on my Stang. Light and strong.

But not a idea wheel for Lexus. Better go with Volk Racing or Work wheels.

piece of s%%$!!! they heavy, easy bented, and just look cheap!! don't put those on a lexus, !
