Does anyone know where I can get my steering wheel re-leathered haha as it were... to just rewrap new leather around it or something, anyone?

American Stitches I believe. I think it'll run between upper $300 to mid $400 range depending on whether or not you want wood as well with the leather. Lots of threads on them, search a little maybe. Hope this helps.

Here Steve, I'll save you some time:
1. Send your wheel out to "American Stitches" to be re-wrapped (somewhat costly for what it is).
2. Go to your local Lexus/Toyota dealership and find out who repairs leather in their used vehicles. Once you find out who performs the work you can employ them to handle the leather on your wheel and probably your shifter as well, not through the dealership but with the leather repairman directly.
3. You can go to wheelskins.com and get a genuine leather steering wheel cover designed to fit your wheel perfectly. This is the route I chose to take and I'm 110% happy with the results. I have the tan interior and ended up purchasing the brown colored leather wheel cover, trust me, it matches up better than any other color they have. These covers run about $40 and are WELL worth the cost. It arrives quickly and you stitch it on your wheel using the materials provided, installation usually takes about an hour or so as this is no cheapy Pep Boys cover.
Good luck dude, let me know if you need any other info

You could try taking the wheel off and taking it down to your old local shoe repair shop. Those old guys can restore old leather to like new condition with their assortment of dyes and sealers. A friend took his old leather dark blue leather steering wheel out of an Mr2 ,they charged $15 bucks for the restoration and the dang thing looks great. Worth a try. If you don't like it, cover in wheelskin.

I just put a 'wheel skin' on my 1992 SC400. They are only $40.00, but they worked out just fine.
I chose the European style, (2 colors) I chose burgandy & oak. It is a bit tedious to put them on and keep the lacing tight, but I really like the result.
