Default Back in the day... MZ21 Spotted!

Moto Miwa of Club4AG and Drift Association decided to stop by the office today.

He had recently acquired an MZ21 Soarer 2.5 GT. (Older Japanese Turbo Soarer)

Here are some pics of this relic that would never see US shores. My apologies on the resolution, I used my cell phone to snap these.

I sure wish my car was turbo.

It goes to show how far, and how radical of a design the newer model SC / Soarer was in comparison. The two cars are only several years difference in age. Calty designers > Japanese designers? hmmm

It was also cool to see his car stop by because we are situated right near the entrance of Toyota National Headquarters.

Cool pictures man - I had never seen an old school Soarer before.

That is quite a difference between old and new.

I love the xxZ2x Soarers!! I found one up for sale here in Australia, big single turbo, auto, all the work done to it (was thrashed though)... $4500! (remember, Aussie dollars).

I'd love to have one as a daiy runaround car.

Wow ... I'm impressed.

Mind sharing how long it took to get this car legalized?

Maybe im wrong, but i was under the impression that the MZ21/20s were 7M powered and the GZs were all 1G powered.

I was thinking that too, unless he's had an engine swap (1JZ powah ).

They run the 1G-GTE (2L twin turbo) and 7M-GTE motors from factory. These cars are pimp!
