if you get a separate monitor, you might have to watch your tv and dvd through a FM modulator, which sounds crappy. if you go with an all in one unit, you play it direct through your head unit and speakers as if you were listening to a CD. big difference. I listen to my dvd compared to my friends fm modulator dvd and it has a bit more hiss and static. yes, i know a distrubutor that deals to little shops in CA.
