Default AZDiva is a SC300

I bought a 1993 SC300 today for $5,250. It has 107K miles. I am very happy. The drivers seat needs the leather replaced. (Is it better to just try and by a seat?)

I will post pics as soon as I can.

Default My 1993 SC300

All,

I opted NOT to purchase the 1992 SC300 of the pics i had previously posted. I was all ready to give up on my hunt for an SC300. After seeing the car in person and finding out the car had been hit twice, the drivers door did not match the color of the car, he couldn't produce service records, wasn't sure if the 90K had been done.

I woke up this morning and checked autotrader.com and saw a gold SC300 from a private seller. she is a college student and needed money for tuition etc, so i called her and she had just listed the vehicle.

She had the service records, had the 90K service done, new tires. EVERYTHING worked, no body damage. The only think is the leather in the drivers seat is cracked, and the passenger seat when you try to move the seat forward, it goes off the track.

So, i had the car checked out and I purchased it from her, rather than the car lot. I'm happy already with my purchase.

I would like to replace the leather on the drivers seat or replace the seat. Also want to get new rims and the gold emblems. Anyone know how easy they are to get installed. I saw some on ebay.

Not saying you are or anything. But it would be funny.

My advice would be to get in on a leatherseats.com GB. Its worth it in the end

Congrats.

Check with leatherseats.com as some may have suggested. All it is a replacement of the leather so you have to re-wrap the seats yourself. Not sure about gold emblems. I belive they are easy to install. I would check with Lexus on that one.

Find the rims you like and post about them. The wheel gurus will be able to give you good advise.

Chris
