Default I found an Sc400 (what's this vehicle worth)

Alright I found an Sc400 with aftermarket wheels in dark blue, and I could get it for 8k. From the pictures it looks to be in very good condition and has around 110k miles on it. It's about a 3 hr drive so I just want to be sure about it before I go. Think I should get it ??

oh...and it's a 93

I think that you can get a much newer SC400 with the same amount of miles for that price. Also, ask the owners what's been replaced already - lots of junk goes wrong (at least with mine) around 120k so the seller might be selling for a reason.

I justed posted this in another topic and I'm to lazy to ret-ype it so here...
Some stuff to look out for is things like radiator leaking, rack leaking, antenna not going up, check the bushings and motor mount condition, and all the usual thing like brakes, rust...ect. But everything I just mentioned I have repaired/replaced on mine so far.

Also post some pics so we can all see.

8k, washington state... thats a very good price for one that is in good condition. A year ago mine had the same mileage, same year, a 300 and was 12k. The one I looked at that was going for 8k at the time was dented, the seats were messed up, and the paint was chipped, and car was leaking. Just wasn't too happy. I'd say go look at it and see what it is worth to you.

V8drummer,

If you are interested in buying an SC400, PM me. I have a 95 white w/ tan interior with 107,000 mile that will be going on E-bay next week. It will be priced to sell and has zero problems. The car has a ton of upgrades.

Just to update a little. The only reason I'm selling the car is to update to a new daily driver. My wife works for Cadillac and they just traded for a white diamond CTS (daily driver) that I am going to buy to go along with my Platinum CTS-V (garage queen).

The SC has:

Stereo: Alpine deck, Alpine changer, Alpine rear spkrs, JL Audio front Spkrs, Dynaudio subwoofer and many many sheets of Dynamat Extreme. Mounting kit with pocket for radio was done.

Radar Detector: Escort SR7 remote mount with lidar sensors

Alarm: Full Code Alarm with remote start and moonroof (up/down) control

New brakes: Rotors (Crossdrilled and slotted) new factory pads and hardware. Calipers were bead blasted and painted with high temp silver caliper paint.

New tires: Fusion 245/45 (17's) on MOMO Arrow wheels

Power steering pump and reservoir were replaced last year. All leather is in fantastic shape with wear on drivers seat. The car is mechanically perfect.

If anyone is "seriously interested" they can contact me by e-mail or PM before i put on E-bay.

That is a clean car man - you should have no problems selling that. Did you put it in the For Sale section yet??

Good luck,
Jonny

Not yet. I think I'm going to list it on E bay for a "buy it now for $8500.00" and see what happens. As of yesterday I now have three cars and the Lex will be going. I will say this. I have a LOT more money in it than the 8500.00 figure. This will make someone as excellent car.

Hey man,

That is a great price. Just an FYI - Buy it Now on ebay sucks. Too many idiot hitting buttons. And once they hit it the auction is over. The better way to do it is say that you will sell it for $8500 and if someone is interested they can send you a deposit and then you can change the buy it now to that price.

Alternatively, set the BIN to the $8500.

Just speaking from past experience of idiots on ebay.

Default Get it shipped or fly one way out there

If you want it bad enough , get it.
It doesnt have to be in your back yard.
A one way ticket cant be that much or shipping is around $700
Good luck
