Just bought a 95 Champagne exterior / black leather interior 5 speed SC300. And i just got an extra 2JZGE motor with 40k on it. I'm new to these boards so i thought i would say whats up.

I'm gonna build the motor outside the car and then throw it in when i get done. Basically just want to turbo the 2jzge motor and get a reliable 350-400hp to the wheels. I'm gonna start searching the forums for info on the car....

one question...anyone make a top mount exhaust manifold for the 2jzge motor?

welcome!! you dont need a built motor for 350-400hp. you could get that from a simple bolt on turbo kit. there is a ton of info on here. feel free to search!

i just searched alot. prolly just do a head gasket and a turbo kit. and the other normal bolt ons...exhaust and so forth. I'm really impressed with what the motor can hold from the factory. I really thought i was gonna have to build the motor.

I guess i'll just strap the turbo kit to the motor outside of the car...and drop it all in assembled. The extra motor has less miles anyway.
