Default Painting SC headlights, high beams and corners

well my friend just got an SC300 5MT and we took all the lights and painted them satin black tell me what you think

delined?? i never really messed with an SC before this one...you mean take the lines out of the lenses? how is this done?the method of doing it?

Sanding
Search for it, it would look sick with partial deline. I don't like full but if you search around you can find some pics and see what you think.

haha just some ace hardware gloss black laquer and gloss clear laquer, and lots of patience

My headlights just got done at SIK Industries, they black chromed the chrome headlight housing in the headlight... and are now fully delined and polished... I should have them back in a couple weeks I will post up pictures when I get them!!!!!

yes please keep us posted. I'm thinking about delining mine too. there was a guy on SF that was doing it.

Yeah, I did one myself and it wasn't turning out as perfect as I wanted it to be. So I sent mine to the guy on SF (Branigan) They are currently at his house in Cali, getting reassembled and should be sent back soon.

I've been wanting to match my high beams/corner lights to my headlights, but how functional are the lights now? The headlights aren't really affected, being they are projector lenses, but I can see the high beams becoming nearly useless....

If you paint only the bezels and not the actual reflectors, they are unaffected.

My fogs are like this and they work 100% while still looking blacked out.
