Well I've been hanging out here for the last two months or so.. well I finally finished the deal on my new SC300. It's a 93 Dark Metallic Green with 104k.. got it for $4k. The car needs a little TLC - just what I wanted. The car just had the expensive 100k mile service which is a super plus! I'll start off the "restoration" with new leather from leatherseats.com, I called them up and they will be running another group buy this month I also want to replace the carpet, anyone know of any aftermarket companies that make quality carpet kits? I also have dibs on a set of polished TT wheels.. that's a great upgrade. I've been reading up on the different suspension options and I think I'm going to go with Eibachs/KYBs.. any comments on this setup? Also looking into the LS4 brakes.. I've got a 38% discount at the dealership - I hope that helps out along the way. I've got 6000K HIDs awaiting the cars arrival & I'll be looking for a 97+ spoiler. Thanks to this community for all the great info - looks like I'm here for good! Thanks!

Chris

Very nice list of mods to get you started. If you can afford going a little bit further with the brakes, get the TT's. They look gorgeous behind TT wheels

I'm telling you! J/K I'm getting over anxious.. I'm thinking about just running stock Supra size rubber.. 235/255 - should that be okay? I don't want to spend a whole lot on tires that won't get used by 225hp

im running 235/40/17 up front and 275/40/17 in the back...

Most people are using 245/40/17 up front and 275/40/17 in the back.

I would run 235/45 in the front, thats what I am going back to for my next set of rubber.

I think I'm going to stick with 235/255 for budget.. I've been searching & I found that the sc400 suspension [eibach/tokicos] will work on a sc300 but is the drop the same?
