Default Need to know how much my car is worth

Hey guys, I have a 95 sc300 with 42k miles. The only problem is that it has a salvage title. It is an auto, but the car is in immaculate condition. The interior looks almost brand knew and the body is in good condition as well. My dad won't let me sell it for anything under 7 grand. Do you guys think i can get that much for it??? Thanx everyone for their 2 cents.

Why do you want to sell a car that is on its way to being a classic? That is extremely low mileage for a 1995. Has the car been in your posession long? Do you know what kind of damage and repair it underwent to result in the "Salvage" title? Generally, it means the car was considered a total loss after an accident by the insurance company and then repaired by someone who bought it from the insurance company. Money can be made if you are selective about what kind of damage has taken place and if you can do a substantial amount of the repairs yourself. Generally, salvage title cars are reduced at least 20% below market value of comparable cars without the salvage designation.

Well, i've had the car for about ....hmmmm.....4-5 months now. I know the extent of the damage because i had to deal with the mechanics working on it for about 6 months. O yea i forgot to state that the speedomotor is a little bit crazy (when cold doesnt work, after about 30 mins of driving then starts to sputter back and forth but reads speed alittle). That little problem just started less than a month ago. The reason why i want to sell the car is because i would like to get a manual car, perhaps even another sc3 but i'll see what happens. I just wanted to see how much i could possible get for the car.

I look the other way when the car is salvaged so they are nearly worthless in my book.

Average KBB, Edmunds and NADA, then whack off 40% cause the title is trash.
