Default Advice?? (car for sale, car wrecked- should I buy a turbo now?)

My sc300 had been up for sale for about a month before I finally got a buyer, of course two days before he was going to come pick it up some woman ran a stop sign and i hit her. There is'nt much damage, and the car's drivable. I'm getting $3000 from her insurance company, and i was offered a turbonetics turbo kit for $3000. Should i get the turbo and fix the car slowly over the summer, or shouold I make the repairs and wait for the turbo?

So wait, you decided not to sell the car? Or the buyer didn't want the car in that condition? Or did you just decide to keep it and modify? How bad is the damage? I would fix the car first if I were you.

Trust me fix the car, that 3000.00 turbonetics kit will rapidly cost you a lot more than 3K

Thanks for the advice. I think i will be fixing it first. The buyer wanted me to lower the price after the accident but I would rather hook up the car more if I had the money, instead of selling it. The damage isnt bad - just bumper cover, headlights, and fender.

No way, he wanted you to lower the price? Duh, did you expect him to pay the same price for the car after it's been messed up?

Listen smart *** - There was not one thing wrong with the car mechanically, and the guy was going to get new parts, including 97+ bumper. To me, he was getting a better deal. Next time try asking about what repairs were being done befor you be a dik
