Removing the rear deck

Take the rear seats out, 1st you have to remove the bottom cushion by pulling up on the edges and it just pops out, next slide and pull the top cushion off, you'll understand once you see it, its pretty easy. Once you have the seats out there are a few screw’s I believe holding it in place. Once you remove those you kind of have to work it out, meaning you have to pull up on the middle so the sides come out of the little grove that they have in the corner. That should so it, if you hit a dead end lemmie know what you need help on

Thanks, I have already had removed the rear seat cushion and the rear back cushion before I posted my question. I also removed those 2 little stubborn little push pins holding the front edge of the rear deck in place. But it doesn't seem to want to lift out. Is there anything else holding it in place? I do not wish to break anything while removing it. I have also removed the plastic seatbelt guides offf of the deck as well. But it seems to be holding onto something. Suggestions?
Thanks,
Ryan

Ryan,
Go to the audio forum. The first sticky (first post, I believe) has step by step instructions with lots of pictures for removing the door covers and the rear deck for the SC. It is a pain to follow all the steps, but it's pretty easy.
Good luck.

That "yank it until it came out" technique works for some of us, but not all. There is some flex in that panel, but not too much, and less as it ages and sits out in the sun.
So use good judgement and if you feel you are pushing the limits, remove one side of the rear window trim for enough clearance.
