Default Airbag System Components

Okay, my airbag system is still not working, or at least the light still comes on.

I've tried clearing the light using the methods listed and it will go off and then right back on indicating a problem.

I've replaced the airbag computer out of a 93 SC300 that the airbags weren't deployed in, mine was a 92. Now the only thing I can think of is if something chagned due to the dual airbags on the 93 and up models, however both part numbers were the same so I don't think that could be it.

Both airbag sensors appear to be there, however I don't know if they could go bad at all or if they need to be replaced.

The airbag is there and plugged in and the only thing I could think it could be is the clockspring, however my horn and cruise control still work so I don't know how jsut the airbag part of it could be broken.

Does anybody else have any other ideas about what could be wrong. I'd like to get this fixed as if there is one important part on the car, this is it.

The airbag light has been on since I got the car, the airbag was replaced after the accident. The problem didn't just start happening.

I got a copy of the repair manual, and I did the diagnostics code reader thing again just to be sure.

I have a code 41

I thought okay, I'll try clearing it again as said.

No good, light goes out and comes right back on.

I am sure its a code 41, not 14 because it starts with 4 blinks first, then one. And this is the only code it outputs.

The repair manual says that if the code 41 keeps appearing then check the harness between ECU -B and center airbag assembly. If it is good then replace the center airbag assembly.

I am at a total loss, I thought the repair manual would be able to shed some insight, but it hasn't other than show me that something else is wrong.

Does anybody have any suggestions, I'm lost!!!
